GRP (glass fibre reinforced polyester) is a cost effective alternative to bitumen based roof coverings.
Several pieces of research have found that 25 to 30 year old GRP buildings are structurally sound. These structures predate the advancements in formulating high performance roofing resins which have occurred in the last 10 to 15 years. GRP roof can be expected to last much longer.
